For years I used to write The Letter and send it off to family & friends to read or discard but it took time that I began to use other ways. Blogging seems to be something that can be done in snatches not needing a lot of continuity for clarity so I'm going to give this a try.
As I quietly this Sunday morning started this process immediately Caleb (home for a few weeks to do some work for Isaacson Engineering) started typing that he was the favorite son as Jacob (home for as long as he wants to be - ahem-) suggested that the first thing I wrote should be that my favorite son was Jacob. I came to the computer a few moments ago to find that Hannah (not a "boomerang" yet) had added that she was the favorite daughter. All that erased for my own beginnings I guess this is an important question and yes I do have favorites. Abram is my favorite son and Naomi is my favorite daughter this devried simply from the equation "Distance = Favorite". - just a little Marianism there- Don't worry only Mickey, Hannah & Sam have yet to experience this dubious distinction for prolonged period.
